Welcome to the Save to Give Challenge

Bayfield County has been selected as the first county in Wisconsin to prticipate in the Save to Give Challenge, sponsored by FOCUS ON ENERGY®, Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy resource program.

The Save to Give Challenge will help Bayfield County residents to save energy and save money.

When enough residents participate and save, Focus on Energy will donate to local nonprofits selected by members of the community. It’s a great way for residents to make a difference for local nonprofits.

You can save energy and support local nonprofits, too!

Residents of Bayfield County have selected a great group of non-profits to benefit from the Save to Give Challenge:
  • Recreation and Fitness Resources - Working to reduce reliance on fossil fuels while promoting clean water, clean air, organic foods, and healthy living.
  • Chequamegon Bay Renewables - Working to reduce reliance on fossil fuels while promoting clean water, clean air, organic foods, and healthy living.
  • Bayfield Heritage Association - Collects, preserves, and shares the history and culture of Bayfield and our surrounding region.
  • Northern Lights Services - Provides high quality healthcare and support services so local residents can thrive in their Northwestern Wisconsin communities.
  • Ashwabay Outdoor Education Foundation - Provides year-round opportunities and programs to people of all ages promoting the enjoyment of the outdoors.
  • Across the Pond Veterans Park - Honors all members of the military, past and present, providing opportunities, resources and a location for education, socialization and rehabilitation, with the purpose to guide and prepare for the future.
  • Forest Lodge Library / Katie Flowers Endowment - Created and named for one of the Forest Lodge Library’s long-term librarians, plans and executes, programs and events to benefit the library.
When you join Bayfield’s Save to Give Challenge, you can pick one of these nonprofits to benefit from your savings.
